The Sadies
Tremendous Efforts
Recorded at Greg Keelor's farm during the spring of 2000.
I got to know the Sadies when they opened a string of dates for
Blue Rodeo in the Maritimes and became a fan immediately. When they
asked me to come to the farm and help out I was honored. It was
especially cool because Steve Albinii was 'producing.'
I don't know if this vibe made it on to the record but after one
intense take (that worked) I was so moved I went outside, looked
up at the stars, started crying and thanked my maker for this gift
of music.
